Krakow Jews who were Married in Antwerp
Many individuals from Krakow settled in Antwerp and were married there. This database has been extracted from seven photocopy books which list Jewish weddings in Antwerp. The list comprises all people originally from Krakow, Podgorze or Mielec. Although the books contain many more familiar-sounding names from Krakow, the people were already born in Antwerp, and are thus not included in this list. An asterisk after the name indicates that the individual (usually the parent) was deceased at the time of the marriage.
It is not certain whether all the documents are available. For example, the entries from 1926 to 1958 do not seem complete, and it is possible that many registers were destroyed or disappeared during the War.
