Holocaust Survivors in Krakow
Shoreshim has obtained a list of over 11,000 "Survivor" names. It comprises those who survived the Holocaust and were either born in Krakow, lived in Krakow after the war, or else owned property in Krakow. The data available to members of Shoreshim includes:
First name:
Last name:
Names of parents: This often includes the mother's maiden name. Where the father's last name is omitted, it is assumed that it is the same as the prime individual's last name.
Date of birth: Usually the actual date, sometimes the age in years.
Place of birth: Usually Krakow and surrounding towns, but many other Polish towns also found.
